Community Survey

An online survey will help us cast a wide net and hear from the whole community on setting priorities for the next five years.

Going live this December! Survey will be launched in coordination with the December public meetings.

Map Input Tool

An interactive map will be used to learn the community’s development preferences. The map allows anyone to add markers with comments, and you can see where other comments have already been added by other community members. You can also interact with the existing comments by continuing the dialogue or using the “Like” or “Dislike” buttons.

Going live this December! Map input tool will be launched in coordination with the December public meetings.

Who's Leading the Process?

The Planning Team – The Forsyth County Department of Planning and Community Development is overseeing the plan update process in close collaboration with its consultant team, led by Blue Cypress Consulting and supported by Pond & Company.

The Foster Forsyth Steering Committee, made up of representatives nominated by the County’s leadership, will guide the plan’s development and help ensure the plan reflects the community’s preferences for the future.

Once the plan has been drafted and reviewed by the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is responsible for adopting the plan and facilitating its implementation through policy decisions consistent with the plan and funding of the Community Work Program.
